Privacy

Mellow has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Your settings stay on your Mac.

What stays on your Mac

• Your settings, presets, schedule, sleep times and chosen place.
• Your trial start date and license key.
• Your location, if you allow it. Mellow uses it only to work out sunrise and sunset, on your Mac.

What leaves your Mac

• Update check, once a day. Mellow asks GitHub for the latest version number. GitHub sees your IP address, nothing else about you.
• City search. When you type a city, the text goes to Apple to find it on the map.
• License activation. When you activate or deactivate Premium, your license key and your Mac's name go to Lemon Squeezy, so you can see which Macs use your key.

Buying Premium

Payments go through Lemon Squeezy, who handle your payment details, invoice and taxes. We never see your card. Their privacy policy applies there. We get your name, email and order, to help you with your purchase.

This website

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads one animation library from cdnjs (Cloudflare). Both see your IP address in their logs. There are no cookies and no analytics.

Email

If you email us, we keep the conversation to reply to you. We don't add you to any list.

Your data

We don't sell or share anything. To have your data removed, or to ask what we have, email lowsunlabs@proton.me. To remove everything Mellow keeps on your Mac, delete the app, the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Mellow and the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.inspiractus.mellow.plist.
